Road Base

Road base is a sand and aggregate blend used in driveways and areas under concrete. When spread 2 to 3 inches deep packed with a tamper or vibrating compactor it turns into a very stable base for concrete or other stone materials. When spread 2 inches deep 1 cubic yard will cover 160 square feet and when spread at 3 inches deep 1 cubic yard will cover 108 square feet.
